This is a very accurate 1967 and early 1968 390, 427, 428 V8 alternator wire harness that connects the alternator to the main engine compartment harness. There is a less expensive reproduction on the market but its a lower quality import with poor color matched terminal boots.

Production date specific: According to Tim Lea this harness was phased out of production around November to early December 1967. No exact change over date is available. After November/early December 1967 the harness was changed over to this wire harness. Update 4/2018: Change over dates are not confirmed. We just verified an original 1968 390 Mustang w/tach built on February 23 1968 that had this harness.
