Jack's Comments:

We used a verified original production set of tail lamp filler boards from one of Scott Fullers fine collection of unrestored 1968 Shelby's. We had the paint matched, cut out die made to exact dimensions and even had the small FP stamp made (see second picture). The most important thing we wanted to get right was to have the board bend properly when its installed. We did this by getting the bending seam just like the original and using the correct type of material that bends just like the originals. The end result is a panel that installs easily and fits like the originals with the proper curvature.
Special thanks to Scott Fuller for providing the detailed drawing of his originals and spending the time with me to get every detail right. We also want to thank Tim Lea who came up with the idea to have us make these panel and lending his expertise to make this an exact reproduction.
