Year: 1970 Condition:Used Description:Fastback rear deck lid Application:1970 Mustang (will fit on 1969 Mustangs but is not correct) Date Code: none showing Jack’s Comments:This is an original production trunk lid I acquired from a local collector who has had it in storage for more than fifteen years. It doesn’t look like it was ever had MUSTANG letters on it so I would suspect it came off a Mach 1. What’s Good: It’s a true original, very strait looking down all sides and there is only surface rust under the lid in the areas that didn’t get much paint from the factory. The seams show no rust. What’s bad: it has one minor dent (see picture) and a large scratch that has rusted over. The large scratched is not a ding or dent, the paint was removed when it was scratched and then the bare metal rusted.
