Transmission Code: RUG AZ Condition: Good original with low miles Jack’s Comments: The 1970 31 spline top loaders were a little different from the earlier top loaders.The 1970’s had a new tail shaft D0ZR-7A040-A to accommodate the Hurst shifter and no drain plug.This transmission was cleaned, inspected and deemed in exceptional condition by our local transmission rebuilder who rebuilt my top loader.I found this transmission in a local collectors garage who said he took it out of a 1970 Mach 1 428 CJ he parted out in the early eighties.There is not a VIN number stamped on it and the inspection cover has a few dings in it that could be worked out, no other issues.
