Application: All Mustang/Shelby with power brakes (except Boss 429) Part #: Engineering #: Date Code: none Jack’s Comments: Original brake boosters for 1969 Mustang/Shelby were made by Bendix and had a connecting rod that bend down slightly to connect to the brake pedal.The 1970 boosters are exactly the same except the rod connecting to the brake pedal goes straight back to connect to the brake pedal.Many of the internal parts in these Bendix brake boosters are made of plastic that will break from fatigue or by continuing to use the brakes after the brake booster has failed.When we send these in to get rebuilt we typically get two good ones back for every three because the internal plastic parts are often cracked.
