The case was cleaned and lightly tumbled, bearings oiled, new reproduction fan installed and the original pulley and adjuster bolts were replated. I really like to get the details right so the check valve was plated to look exactly like the NOS valve I installed on my car. The check valve is a single part with two platings. The bottom is clear zinc and the cap is yellow zinc (zinc dichromate). When installed the profile of the valve is what you see so it critical to get the finishes correct. Some of these pumps didn’t show a year as part of the date code. This is one of them. I can stamp the year code at the beginning of the date code if you like. The opaque blue plastic check valve pressure button is an original, not an reproduction.
