Jack’s Comments: This is an original Ford production 67-69 slip yoke with the machined inner u-joint cup area. It would be 100% correct for any class of judging. I would match this slip yoke with our Concours or Thoroughbred driveshafts only. Ford stopped production of this slip yoke sometime in the beginning of 1970 production replacing it with a version that didn’t have the inner u-joint cup machined. The part number stayed the same including the suffix after the change so it becomes impossible to tell when the change was made. It’s now only available NOS (very rare) or used.
Refurbishing Details: Cleaned, checked for any cup damage, checked for excessive wear or rust pits on main shaft that could interfere with a proper seal, flat outside u-joint cup areas are lightly machined and paint coded for an NOS look. U-joint size: 1330 (3.623 inches wide) Related Pictures:
