There was a rubber insulator between the two tubes to reduce vibration and noise. This type of driveshaft contruction is not available.

If I were building a driver, restomod or occasional show car I would choose this complete ready to install driveshaft to do the job. If you modified your motor select the seamless tubing for improved reliability (no blue seam).
