There was a rubber insulator between the two tubes to reduce vibration and noise. This type of driveshaft construction is not available anymore.

If I were building a driver, restomod or occasional show car I would choose this complete ready to install driveshaft to do the job. If you modified your motor don't worry, this driveshaft can handle it. These driveshafts use one of the rarest slip yokes, it has 31 splines with the smaller 1310 u-joint (only available used or NOS).
