Jack's Comments: This special orange hose was used on all 428 CJ, 428 SCJ's starting around February 17th 1969 until the end of 1969 production. We are not sure what the correct length this hose was originally so we are offering it in 12” lengths.The take-off Ed Meyer provided me to reproduce this hose was 10.75" but we are unable to confirm this to be the correct length.
This hose is unique because it can hold up to the extreme heat without kinking when hot. There is a hose similar to this one available from some specialty parts stores but they are half the wall thickness of this hose and the orange color is too bright or too dark. Ed Meyer and myself consider this hose a perfect reproduction of the original.
