You most likely see this material covering the rod between the inside door handle and the door latch. The lengths you see pictured are cut for that length (2 x 17" lengths you cut to exact fit). NOTE: This 3/8" material and a smaller 1/4" version was used by most American car manufactures to insulate wiring and other components. Contact us if you require different lengths.
