As you can see from the pictures below every detail was reproduced including the spot-welded in oil baffle. Pan and oil pickup tube are only sold as a set but the pickup tube and baffle will be available separately in the future. Note: The oil plug seal is not at all correct for concours judging.
Q. Was this pan tested on a real Boss 429 Engine?
A. Yes, the pan has been run on a dyno and passed all tests:
sealing, oil capacity, oil pickup tube clearance are all to
factory specifications.
Q. Why isn't the pan painted?
A. Considering how many Ford Corp blues are available and that we rarely find two hobbyist agreeing what is the correct blue for their car we decided to leave the pan bare steel so you can prep and paint it with your preferred shade of Ford Corp blue.
Q. Why is the oil pickup sold with the pan
A. The Boss 429 oil pickup tube is unique and we suspect many were lost or damaged over the years. To insure the proper position of the pickup screen inside the baffle and to assure the pickup screen clearance are to factory specs we thought the oil pickup tube should be included.

A. If your not satisfied with quality of this oil pan and pickup tube after you inspected them just return it for a full refund within 30 days. All other return policy terms are in effect.
