This bracket was installed to hold the backup switch wire harness in place so it doesn’t get in the way of the factory Hurst shifter. Take a look at the second picture. It shows where this bracket mounts and the wire harness running through it.

History

I’ve been working with one of our favorite small run suppliers and Ed Meyer to get this odd bracket reproduced. Ed finally sent him a good original and the supplier came up this perfect reproduction a short time later. Manufactured in limited quantities.
