This is everything you need to rebuild your stock 1968-69 429 or 460 water pump. You will need a press and the correct press accessories to install the seal without damaging it or you can purchase our Ford seal and bearing install tool. No instructions included.

TIP: Use a little Permatex Form-a-Gasket #1 to help seal the water pump bearing and seal to housing.

Q: What sealants do you recommend?
A: Many manufactures have sealants that will work. We use the following sealers when we rebuild pumps. Permatex Red Threadlocker 27140 (bearing > housing), Permatex Form-a-Gasket #80008 (water pump seal outer ring to pump housing),  Gasgacinch Gasket Sealer 440-B (backing plate, pump > block gaskets, and bypass tube)
