The caution fan decal was put on by the factory or by the dealership service department (see notes below).
Concours Notes:
* 1969-70 BOSS 302 did not have a Caution Fan decal from the factory but many were put on later by dealership service departments. At some point Ford must have realized not having a decal was a "safety-related defect" so they had the dealerships put them on during a service or warranty repair visit. From what we understand MCA judges will not deduct points if you have this decal or don't have it, either way is correct.
* 1969-70 390, 428 S/CJ equipped cars that didn't come from the factory with a Caution Fan decal (see pictures).
