Shipping Your Driveshaft Cores

After completing the purchase of our driveshaft restoration service you will need to send us all your cores. Please follow the steps below.

STEP 1:  Verify the cores your sending are correct for your car and are in acceptable condition for restoration. See the ID guide.

STEP 2:  Cut tube yokes off approximately 10 inches back from the welds. The tubing is thin so you can use a hacksaw, chop saw or sawzall. It doesn't have to be pretty. Keep the center section you cut out and hang it on your garage wall.
NOTE: Cutting the ends off is not required but it will much less to ship vs the entire driveshaft. Your also welcome to send us the complete driveshaft.

STEP 4:  Package the cores carefully. Individually wrap each part so they cannot damage each other when the carrier drops or throws your box during shipping. If you ship US Priority Mail we suggest lining the medium or large bulk rate boxes with thick cardboard to help prevent your cores breaking through the thin cardboard.

STEP 5:  Place a copy of your order or your contact information in the box with your cores so we can locate your online order.

STEP 6:  USPS address below. Call or email us for our UPS and FedEx shipping address:

Dead Nuts On
Customer Cores
PO BOX 279
Sewickley, PA 15143

TIP: Make sure you insure your package for replacement cost just in case your package is lost or damaged.

STEP 7:  When we receive your cores we'll contact you as soon as we have a chance to inspect them.
