This is the latest reproduction of the foam air vent seals that always seem to get destroyed when you remove the vents. See more info below.

Reassembly Tip: Make sure you install the passenger vent before you install the heater box otherwise you will have to remove the heater box to install it. I learned this the hard way. -Jack

Please note that the original seals (which appear to have never been sold as service parts by Ford Motor Company) were held in place with contact cement. You may wish to do the same to make installation a little easier. Each seal will fit on either side of the vehicle. There is some variability in screw hole locations, so you may need to enlarge one or more holes. You might also find it helpful to flatten your plastic vent surfaces using a heat gun, but be careful to not damage the plastic!
