The rubber on original choke and hood scoop cables is always cracked or missing. You can re-sleeve your originals with this exact reproduction and you're good to go. I’ve included more than enough to recover your original cables. Ed Meyer said he considers this an exact copy of the original.
During early 1970 production this covering was replaced with a vinyl sleeve. We are not sure exactly when Kar Kraft started to install vinyl covered choke/scoop cables but we do know KK2276 still had the rubber covered cables and KK2500 had vinyl (see related products below for 1970 vinyl sleeve.
NOTE: The kit does not include the tiny metal crimp band clamp but we have them available.
Q: Do you have any pictures of the choke and scoop cables as they pass through the firewall?
A: No but there a good pictures on the BOSS forum <click here to see them>
