This engine oil cooler reproduction is almost an exact copy of the production since it is a limited reissue from the original manufacture. The engine oil coolers were used to reduce engine temperatures that were caused by driving sustained high speeds with cars optioned with high axle ratios (3:91 & 4:30). Made in USA

Concours Notes:
The "Two Coats Epoxy" and a date code in yellow ink found on many restorations today may not be technically correct. I have seen many survivor cars that do not have the stamps and I have been told by some top restorers that they have only seen these stamps on NOS service parts. We are not 100% sure what the right answer is but we have seen restorers mistakenly use later NOS parts as a reference for earlier production parts in the past so this may be happing again. We suggest doing some investigation before applying the stamps.
