Jack's Comments:

This is the correct non-flared water pump bypass tube for FE Ford engines. 

Ford used a special reinforced hose between the FE pump and the intake that is no longer available. Most customers use the standard Marti Autoworks 5/8" ribbed heater hose and the 1 1/16" Wittek tower clamps to secure the hose.

Concours Notes:
Ford painted FE engines with the water pump on the engine so the clamps and the hose would be painted the same as the engine color. (see link to correct clamps below).

Install tip from a customer: 
I ended up using a bolt with a washer to smack to smack it in. If the tube end gets a little bent inward you can round it out again by pushing and turning closed needle nosed pliers into the tube.  Also use some type of sealant just to make sure it seals. ~Dylan
